In January-September 2016, the port of Primorsk handled 48,336,800 t of cargo (+10%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, crude oil transshipment climbed by 14% to 37,777,900 t.
Transshipment of oil products declined by 2%, year-on-year, to 10,558,800 t.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
