Throughput of port Kavkaz up 21% to 29.74 mln t in 11M’16

In January-November 2016, port Kavkaz handled 29,744,000 t (+21%, year-on-year), Harbour Master of port Kavkaz Yevgeny Tuzinkevich told IAA PortNews.

Off-harbour transshipment complex handled 10.803 mln t of export cargo (-8%, year-on-year).

Transshipment of oil products increased by 62% to 12.683 mln t, grain – by 23% to 5.081 mln t, sulphur and mineral fertilizers – by 81% to 3.133 mln t. Transshipment of LPG fell by 8% to 152,000 t.

Exports from port Kavkaz fell by 88% to 388,000 t, imports – by 62% to 86,000 t. Short-sea traffic surged by 105% to 18.03 mln t.

Passenger turnover climbed by 24% to 5,724,277 passengers.

Bunker sales at the port declined by 13% to 438,000 t. 

The number of calls increased by 29% to 25,312 calls.
