KSRC hosts meeting on regulatory framework for technical operation of hydraulic engineering structures at seaports (photo)
Krylov State Research Center (KSRC) hosted a round-table meeting dedicated to regulatory framework for technical operation of hydraulic engineering structures at seaports. The meeting held on 4 April 2017 was organized by Media Group PortNews and the Association of expert organizations on technical control of hydraulic engineering structures at seaports “Morportexpertiza” with KSRC as the Partner. Oleg Timofeyev greeted the participants of the meeting in his keynote speech.
The role and activities of Morportexpertiza was covered by Vladimir Menshikov, President of the Assiciation.
Aleksandr Il’chenko, representative of FSUE Rosmorport, told about the prospects on approval of the Regulations developed by FSUE Rosmorport and submitted to the Ministry of Transport.
Samwel Sarkisyan, representative of the Federal Agency for Transport Supervision (RosTransNadzor), covered the issues of the regulatory framework in the context of the Federal Law on Safety of HES.
Among the speakers were representatives of JSC Eleron, Federal Fishery Agency, Arctic LNG 2 LLC, State Marine Design Institute (23 GMPI – branch of JSC 31 GPISS), Technical Center “Garant” LLC, Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Technology Center JSC, SK TMK LLC.
After the round-table meeting its participants visited the seakeeping basin, new ice basin allowing for assessment of loads on structure bases, a wind tunnel and other facilities of Krylov State Research Center.
