Navigation in Saint-Petersburg opens on Bolshaya and Malaya Neva rivers from April 10

Navigation in Saint-Petersburg opens on the Bolshaya and Malaya Neva rivers from April 10. Mostrotrest says navigation on the Neva arms will open on 20 April.

The schedule for raising of the Dvortsovy and the Troisky bridges will change this season. The Dvortsovy bridge will first be raised at 1:10 (Moscow time), the Troitsky bridge – at 1:20 (Moscow time), a quarter earlier than in the previous season.

The internavigation period was used by Mostotrest for repair and maintenance of the draw-bridges with the most ambitious works performed at the Aleksandr Nevsky, Bolsheokhtinsky, Liteiny, Birzhevoi and Sampsoniyevsky bridges.

Prior to opening of the navigation season Mostotrest has performed 39 raising operations this year.
