On 12 April 2017, Shiprepairing and Shipbuilding Corporation OJSC (Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod Region) has laid down non-self-propelled dredger of project RDВ 66.42 (Hull No 1001), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
The ceremony was attended by Victor Vovk, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot.
The dredger with the length of 52.9 m, breadth of 12 m and capacity of 1,000 cbm/h will operate at the rivers of the Lena Basin. The ship will be built in the framework of the programme on renovation of the service fleet (Federal Targeted Programme “Development of Russia’s Transport System in 2010-2020) to the order of Rosmorrechflot. The customer is FSI.
Upon completion of the ceremony Victor Vovk held a meeting dedicated to implementation of the contract with the heads of SSC and RechVodPut, as well as with the key specialist of the shipyard.
