Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg expects 243 calls in navigation-2017

According to the schedule approved for navigation season of 2017 Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC expects 243 calls and more than 540,000 cruise tourists. According to the press center of «Marine Façade», this was announced at the annual meeting of Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg dedicated to summer navigation of 2017.

9 vessels will make their maiden calls at Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg. Summer navigation season will begin with the call of Viking Sky, a luxury class cruise ship of Viking Ocean Cruises.

The cruise season will be closed with the call of AIDAvita (Carnival Corporation) on October 17.
 
During the meeting, tour operators - partners of Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg were told about the plans of the company for the coming navigation, changes and innovations in organisation of passenger operations and transport security.

Vadim Kashirin, Director General of «Marine Façade», told about the preparedness of the port infrastructure to accept vessels and passengers in summer navigation of 2017, about the activities planned for the development of port infrastructure, about changes in organisation of services at the passenger terminal and about enhanced security measures planned for the periods of public events in the city.
