Bunker fuel sales at the Port of Vladivostok and at its offshore anchorage locations between January – August 2017 totaled 458,000 tonnes, which is nearly 67.7% more than in the same period 2016 (273,000 tonnes), the Authority of the Seaports of Primorsky Krai and the Eastern Arctic press office told IAA PortNews.
Less than a quarter of the volume (95,700 tonnes) was supplied to ships at offshore anchorages (western, eastern and inner).
In the eight-month bunker sales, the volume of fuel oil was about 360,600 tonnes, lubes - about 70,500 tonnes, the rest – diesel fuel.
The number of bunkering operations increased from 2082 to 2278.
