In a joint operation of Wagenborg Foxdrill and Wagenborg Projects & Logistics a land drilling rig was moved from a drilling site in Turkey to the Westland area in the Netherlands, the company said in its press release.
Wagenborg Foxdrill disassembled the rig on site and supervised transport to the quay from which the complete installation was loaded into a cargo ship. The following was also part of the scope of work:
Selection and contracting of local transportation/lifting service provider
Packaging for marine transportation
Custom clearance
After the sea voyage to Rotterdam, components were unloaded and transported to the new drilling location in the Westland area. The Wagenborg Foxdrill team onsite successfully assembled the rig and within the planned time frame.
