Marine Recruiting Agency launches training project for Rosterminalugol

On December the 11th, 2017 Marine Recruiting Agency LLC (MRA, a company of UCL Holding) embarks on one of the foreground training projects for JSC «Rosterminalugol» (RTU) – the largest specialized coal terminal in the European Russia with hi-tech coal handling operations (a company of port coal-handling holding Port Management Company LLC).

The project is expected to embrace over 100 RTU’s employees with the focus on two main subjects: occupational health and safety (OHS) in the process of coal handling and smooth operation of terminal management system for control of hi-tech lifting, transporting and loading/unloading equipment: operation and maintenance of railcar dumping machines, transborders, stackers-reclaimers, belt conveyors, ship loaders and other industry-specific equipment.

Besides, RTU’s workers will learn about Russian and international standards and requirements for environmental safety in bulk handling sea ports.

The training course consists of two stages: theoretical and practical. Both stages are to be held at the territory of the terminal in the Sea Commercial Port of Ust-Luga. 

64-hours professional training programme “Machine operator (docker – machine operator) of the multi-skilled cargo-handling gang” was developed by MRA’s training center to meet the specific requirements of the customer and was successfully approved by RTU’s experts.

The Agency expects to finish the training course this year. After the programme is completed, RTU’s workers are getting their qualification certificates and trade education diplomas.

«Marine Recruiting Agency» LLC – a recruiting company, which represents the interests of transport, logistic, construction and other companies of the North-Western region in sphere of recruiting, training and provision of temporary personnel. MRA was established in 2001 and is a subsidiary company of JSC«Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg». On January 01, 2016 the company was certified by Federal Service on Labour and Employment to perform the staffing operations.  

One of the Agency’s specific features is a Training Centre with its own specialized training facilities. Its functions include primary training, re-qualification and upgrade of skills on the basis of various educational programmes.
