Freight and passenger traffic of the Kerch ferry line slightly decreased in 2017, says Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
In January-December 2017, 14 ferries of the Kerch line carried 5,711,697 passengers, down 4% from 5,973,186 passengers carried in 2016. Transportation of vehicles declined by 0.03% from 1,783,095 units in 2016 to 1,782,569 units in 2017.
The rail-ferry service carried 78,167 rail cars (down 6.3% from 83,433 units carried in 2016).
The following ferryboats operate at the Kerch line: Pobeda, Protoporos IV, Glikofilousa III, Major Chapichev, boris Shtokolov, Yeisk, Lavrenty, Maria, Elena, Nina Malkova, Olympiada, Krym, Kerchensky-2 and Nikolai and Aksenenko.
Rail cars are carried by 4 ferryboats: Petrovsk, Annenkov, Avangard and Konro Trader.
