The joint efforts of the two major French seaports have made it possible to develop and implement a project that logistics and transport professionals have been waiting a long time for: in mid-March 2018 the Port of Marseille Fos, and HAROPA – Port du Havre, in association with the French combined transport operator Naviland Cargo, will launch a new thrice weekly rail shuttle that will connect the two French ports with the Chavornay terminal near Lausanne in French-speaking Switzerland, Port of Marseille said in its press release.
