In January-May 2018, the port of Vyborg handled 610,900 tonnes of cargo (+22%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo grew by 25% - до 559,100 tonnes including 331,000 tonnes of coal and coke (up 2.6 times) and 207,400 tonnes of mineral fertilizers (-2%).
Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo including chemicals grew by 91% to 9,600 tonnes.
Transshipment of general cargo fell by 14% to 28,700 tonnes including 6,200 tonnes of metal scrap (+22%).
In 2017, the port of Vyborg handled 1.54 million tonnes of cargo (+12%, year-on-year).
