Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg allocated RUB 6.6 million for its social and environmental programmes in H1’18
In the first half of 2018, ZAO Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (CTSP, a company of UCL Holding) allocated RUB 6.6 million for its social and environmental programmes.
According to the Company, RUB 4.9 million was allocated for implementation of activities as part of the Company’s social programme. In the first half of the year, CTSP employees received compensations for medical services, health resort treatment, sports and leisure.
Besides, financial assistance was provided to socially troubled ones, on the occasions of child birth, retirement, professional and other holidays.
In the reporting period, the company allocated RUB 1.7 million for a package of measures aimed to mitigate the negative impact on the environment.
ZAO Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (CTSP, a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a modern facility specializing in handling of all types of container cargo, including refrigerated containers, oversize and hazardous cargoes. In 2017, container throughput at CTSP reached 643,700 TEUs.
