The Russian Fishery Company (RFC) LLC and the Rosneft Bunker LLC (NK Rosneft subsidiary) signed an agreement on the supply of marine fuel for a period of five years on the basis of formula pricing, RFC says in a press release.
Vice President for Commerce and Logistics of PJSC "NK Rosneft" Otabek Karimov and Director General of LLC "Russian Fish Industrial Company" Fedor Kirsanov signed the document within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum.
In accordance with the agreement, Rosneft-Bunker will supply the RFC with up to 340,000 tons of marine fuel used in ship and gas turbine ship equipment.
"We are sure that long-term relations with our partners are the basis of sustainable business," - commented RFC CEO Fyodor Kirsanov. - The contract, that was signed today, will provide direct supplies of fuel from a Russian manufacturer, which has proved to be a reliable supplier. High-quality fuel, which we will receive under the contract, will be also used on new super trawlers, the construction of which the RFC started this year. "
The quality of the fuel planned to be delivered to RFC is confirmed by expertise, which is carried out at all stages: during production, transportation, storage and refueling. The employees of Rosneft-Bunker, as well as experts from independent international survey organizations Saybolt, SGS and Inspectorate are involved in the audit.
The agreement will allow Rosneft-Bunker to increase the volume of ship fuel sales in the domestic market to the direct shipowners and will lead to the expansion of the client base.
