Throughput of the port of Tallinn (Estonia) up 7.3% in Jan. 07

In January 2007, the companies of Tallinna Sadam (port of Tallinn, Estonia) handled 3.938 million tons of cargo (+7.3%, year-on-year), RZD-Partner reports. The port’s authorities attribute the result to growing transshipment of dry bulk cargo – 1.154 million tons (+74%).  Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo totaled 2.362 million tons (-7.8%).
