Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-October 2018, was up 0.7% on the same period in 2017 to 523.73 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
Ten-month volume of oil cargo and non-oil bulk cargo fell by 5.3% and 6.6%, accordingly, to 182.97 million and 14.15 million tonnes million tonnes.
Container traffic grew by 9.8% to 30.45 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in Southeast Asia. In 2017, the port handled 626.17 million tonnes of cargo.
