Throughput of Rostov-on-Don port in Jan’19 grew by 22% Y-o-Y to 1.25 million tonnes

In January 2019, the port of Rostov-on-Don handed 1.25 million tonnes of cargo (+22%, year-on-year), the port’s statistics shows.

In the reporting period, loading totaled 1.24 million tonnes.

In the reporting period, transshipment of grain accunted for 44.5% of the total throughput, oil products – for 22.6%, coal – for 17.6%.

The Harbour Master’s office says the number of calls totaled 324 units.
