Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-November 2019 reached the mark of 572.73 million tonnes (-0.5%, Y/Y), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
Eleven-month volume of oil cargo edged down 0.7% to 200.72 million tonnes, while non-oil bulk volume increased by 4.5% to 16.08 million tonnes. General cargo remained nearly unchanged at 22.18 million tonnes.
Container traffic climbed by 0.5% to 57.72 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in Southeast Asia. In 2018, the port handled 630.03 million tonnes of cargo.
