Szczecin port operator is sold to PCC Rail

PCC Rail, the private rail freight operator in Poland owned by Germany's Petro Carbo Chem, has succeeded in its bid to buy a 46.2% stake in Drobnica - Port Szczecin, the port operating company located in Szczecin, north-western Poland, Railway Market Magazine reports according to RZD-Partne.
In doing so, PCC Rail has committed itself to developing the company.
The sale of the shares to PCC Rail is associated with the realisation of a new policy under which the management and operations of ports will be separated.
Drobnica - Port Szczecin handles a wide variety of types of freight, including containers.
