The works will be conducted at the Coal Harbor of Big Port St. Petersburg
Glavgosexpertiza (Russia's Main Department of State Expertise) says it has considered and approved the design documentation and engineering survey results under the project on construction of a handling facility in the territory Petersburg Oil Terminal.
Phase I of the project foresees the construction of a facility for handling liquid bulk cargo and development of additional railway infrastructure and utility lines within Petersburg Oil Terminal.
The works will be conducted at the Coal Harbor of Big Port St. Petersburg and include the construction of a tank farm (10 vertical tanks of 3,000 to 10,000 cbm in capacity), a double-service discharge rack, railway tracks and train acceptance facilities, three pump stations, two vapor recovery units and other facilities.
There will be roads of category IV built to all facilities and a 3.75-meter wide fire access road around the rack.
The design has been developed by Salavatneftekhimproekt LLC.
