The contract is valued at at RUB 174.7 million
Rosmorport has invited tenders for contract award for decommissioning of the icebreaker "Ermak" and further sale of scrap of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. According to tender documents published by
Rosmorport, the maximum contract price is RUB 174.7 million. The bidding process winner will be announced on January 11, 2023.
The Ermak icebreaker was built in 1974 at Helsinki based Wartsila Shipyard for SudoImport. Upon delivery the icebreaker was deployed for escorting ships along the Northern Sea Route, as well as a support for conducting scientific research.
