New transport and logistics center in Primorye to ensure handling of 88,000 TEU in 2025
When fully operational, the facility will handle 300,000 thousand TEU per year
Transport and logistics center “Primorsky” (TLC Primorsky) which is to be built by Freight Village group in Mikhailovsky PDA (in the Primorsky Territory) will be able to handle 88 thousand TEU in 2025. The facility is to be delivered in the end 2024. It will ensure the growth of Russia’s trade with the APR countries. Under an agreement with Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, FV Primorsky (a company of Freight Village group) will invest RUB 6.6 billion and crate 430 jobs as a resident of Mikhailovsky PDA, says FEADC.
TLC Primorsky will provide services on handling and storage of containers delivered by railway and road transport, accumulate cargo delivered from the Primorye ports for forming container trains bound for Siberia and the European part of Russia as well as accumulate ship loads for shipments by rail, road and seaborn transport and also to offer customs services.
TLC Primorsky will be built at railway station Vosdvizhnsky near Ussuriysk in the Primorsky Territory. The facility’s full capacity will be 300 thousand TEU per year. It will include a container terminal of 27 hectares, up to 9 tracks, customs control and storage areas as well as a distribution area.
The agreement on cooperation in implementation of TLC Primorsky project was signed by FEADC General Director Nikolay Zapryagayev, head of Ussuriysk municipality Yevgeny Korzh and FVL Generl Director Ruslan Zalivatsky at the 7th Eastern Economic Forum.
