SCZONE and EBRD to sign the 2nd phase to digitize investors services by the end of the month
Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, met with Mr. Khaled Hamza, Director Head of Egypt at “EBRD”, Ms. Bojana Reiner, Senior Governance Advisor North Africa & Middle East at EBRD, and several bank representatives, according to SCZONE's release. The meeting was held to prepare for the second phase of cooperation between the Suez Canal Economic Zone and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development about the full digitization and re-engineering within ports and investors’ services.
The cooperation between SCZONE and EBRD included several files. The most important of which is the one-stop service, the digitization of all investor services, and work on the full digitization of ports’ services, in addition to the MOU that was signed last November between the El Sewedy Technical Academy (STA) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The MOU aims to provide the necessary support to raise the efficiency of technical labor in green hydrogen projects and other fields such as logistics, tourism services, and steel within the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE).
