Vladimir Yakunin, President of Russian Railways, met with August Chisaro, Slovak Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia. The meeting took place in the run up to Russian president Vladimir Putin’s official visit to Slovakia on 27 April 2007.
During the negotiations the two men discussed the development of cooperation between Russian Railways and Slovakian railways, in particular joint projects to build infrastructure and manufacture rolling stock for the use of the Company. They also discussed the capital repair of the Company’s rolling stock which was manufactured in Czechoslovakia, reports press-service of OAO RZD.
