Jinhui takes 8 newbulding contracts

Oslo-listed dry bulk owner/operator Jinhui Shipping & Transportation has bought newbuilding contracts for eight supramax bulkers of 57,000 DWT at USD 41.0 million a piece, or USD 328 million en bloc from Dragonmark International in the British Virgin Islands. The vessels are on order at China State Shipbuilding Corp. in Shanghai for delivery at three months interval from end October next year.
