PRISCO accepts delivery of 166,000-dwt Prisco Mizar
Primorsk Shipping Company OJSC has accepted the delivery of its new tanker Prisco Mizar built at Hyundai Heavy Industries (Korea), PRISCO reports according to PrimaMedia. The 166,000-dwt tanker was designed in accordance with operating conditions of the Baltic Sea. It will be deployed for operation in the port of Primorsk. Prisco Mizar of 1A ice class is a head vessel of the series.
The other tanker, Prisco Alkor, is to be launched in the middle of September, 2007. For about three years both vessels are to transport liquid bulk cargo to European ports.
