Novorossiysk grain terminal to export first volume of grain in August
According to director of OJSC "Novorossiysk sea trading port" (NSTP) Igor Vilinov, OJSC "Novorossiysk Grin Terminal" that is part of Holding "Novorossiysk sea trading port" in August 2007 plans to ship the first volume of grains.
According to I. Vilinov, by that time they would put into operation deep-water birth and 10 capacities for grains storage for 10.000-14.000 tons. Vilinov noted that capacity for simultaneous grains storage of the whole terminal is 120.000 tons. Technologically, terminal would be able to accept motor and railway transport and ship grains to vessels of Panamax type with capacity up to 70.000 tons.
With putting into operation trans-shipment complex, up to 200 wagons with grains would be discharged daily in Novorossiysk port.
