In June, the port handled 2.789 million tonnes (+ 0.5 million tonnes against June 2006). In H1 2007, transshipment of dry cargo surged by 14.1% with 35% falling on loose cargo. Transshipment of general cargo included 3.093 million tonnes of ferrous metal (-10.6%, year-on-year). Transshipment of containerized cargo climbed by 20.2% to 2.022 million tonnes.
In the reported period the port handled 1.437 million tonnes of crude oil (+34%, year-on-year) and 2.33 million tonnes of oil products (+6.1%, year-on-year).
