A successful launch of the ship 'Grand Mereya' to be used for LNG transportation was conducted on July 7. PRISCO (Primorsk Shipping Corporation) is building this ship jointly with Japan's Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, FIS reports according to RZD-Partner.
The ship was brought out of the dock and moored to the shipyard of Mitsui Engineering Shipbuilding CO., LTD in the Japanese city of Chiba. Today in full swing is the installation of mechanisms, systems and manifolds, insulation of the superstructure and cargo tanks.
