Danish shipping and oil group AP Moeller-Maersk unit Svitzer Far East and its partner Wilhelmsen Offshore & Chartering have sold their jointly-owned Express Offshore Transport company to Australian bank Macquarie, the companies said yesterday. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Express Offshore is based in Singapore and deploys a fleet of approximately 50 crewing supply vessels. The company offers transportation of personnel and supplies to the oil industry in the Middle East and South-east Asia.
