Daewoo says wins $592 mln container ship order

Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. (042660.KS: Quote, Profile, Research), the world's second-largest shipbuilder, said on Wednesday it has won 543.6 billion won. ($592.3 million) container ship order from an Asian shipper. The vessel will be delivered to the unidentified shipper by the end of July 2011, Daewoo said in a filing with the Korea Exchange.
