Throughput of Estonian ports makes 26.5 million tonnes in H1 07, y-o-y

In January-June 2007, the ports of Estonia transshipped 26.5 million tonnes of cargo, statistics department reports according to RZD-Partner. The result is close to that of H1 2006. Loading totaled 22.86 million tonnes (-4%), unloading – 3.7 million tonnes (+28%). In June the ports handled 3.8 million tonnes of cargo (-13,6%) including some 3 million tonnes loaded to the vessels (-22%) and 804.700 thou tonnes unloaded (+43%). In 2006, throughput of Estonian ports amounted to 49.8 million tonnes (+6,6%).
