Export of fish and seafood in Primorye up 1.3% in H1 07, y-o-y

Export of fish and seafood harvested by Primorye fishing vessels in the World ocean and exported to foreign countries without entering Russian ports made $191.6 million in the first half of 2007 (+1.3%, year-on-year), Primkraistat reports according to ИА REGNUM.

In natural units it totaled 132.1 thou tones (-10.8%, year-on-year). Fish and seafood wereexported to seven non-CIS countries, mostly to Korea republic: $85.2 million (44.5%), China: $63.1 million (33%), Germany: $18.9 million (9.8%), Japan: $10.6 million (5.5%).
