Uralkaliy OJSC increased muriate potash output by 32.1% to 2.544 mil tons in IH 2007 from 1.926 mil tons in the same period of the previous year, said in the company's announcement.
In June Uralkaliy produced 432.9 thd tons of muriate potash, that is 47% more then in June 2006 (294.4 thd tons)
Uralkaliy is a developer of the Verkhkamskoe potassium field and producer of fertilizers which are shipped to China, India, Brasilia. The 2005-net profit reached 20.721bn rub.
The share capital is worth 1.06bn rub. split in 2124390000 common stocks of 0.5 rub. par held by private persons.
Uralkaliy's net profit under IFRS made 3.494 bln rub in 2006, that is 2.7 fold less then in 2005 (9.429 rub). Revenues reduced by 20.3% to 22.29 bln rub.
