ABG Shipyard on Tuesday said it has won a US$360 million order for the construction of 12 vessels from the Thailand-based Precious Shipping Public Company Limited (PSL).
ABG Shipyard will build the vessels, which weigh around 32,000 deadweight tons (dwt) each, as part of its ship acquisition programme, the company said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange. With a fleet of 44 vessels, Precious Shipping is one of the largest shipping companies in the world.
