Contract on utilization of three nuclear submarines to be signed in Primorye

The Japanese Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Sekiguti Masakazu will visit Primorsky Territory on August 1-3, vladivostoktimes.com reports.

As Consulate General of Japan in Vladivostok reported to RIA PrimaMedia, the Vice-Minister SEKIGUTI will visit ceremony of signing contract on utilization of three nuclear submarines of "Victor-3" class our of five, agreement on their utilization was achieved in November of 2005 in the frameworks of "Zvezda Nadezhdy" ("Hope Star") program on utilization of nuclear submarines that are out of the fleet in the Russian Far East.

Japanese diplomat will visit the facilities where utilization works are carried out and discuss further collaboration in this field with persons in charge, including representatives of Primorsky Territory Administration.
