In January-June 2007, international commercial seaport of Baku handled 1.352.4 million tonnes of oil at its oil terminal, the port’s press center reports according to day.az. The result is 422.3 thou tonnes below that of H1 06. Transshipment of dry cargo at the port’s main terminal amounted to 17.6 thou tonnes (-47.7 thou tonnes, year-on-year).
The ferry terminal of the port handled 1.154.0 million tonnes of oil, oil products and dry cargo (17,247 wagons), which is 288.1 thou tonnes below the result of H1 06 (-4,489 wagons).
In the first half of 2007 the port’s passenger terminal serviced 5,493 passengers.
