Lithuania's railway company Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai carried a total of 26mn tons of cargo during the first half of 2007 (+3.3% year on-year), RZD-Partner reports with reference to Railway Market-CEE Review.
The volume of international cargo carried by the company increased by 11.1% during the reporting period and amounted to 20.5mn tons. At the same time the volume of cargo transported within Lithuania decreased by 18.1% in H1, down to 5.5 mn tons.
