APL extends Singapore-Mumbai service to Chiwan

APL is adding a direct Pearl River-Mumbai connection with the extension to Chiwan of its Singapore-Mumbai service . The service continues calling at Singapore both ways. The Colombo call is dropped. The SSX will henceforth turn in three weeks instead of two weeks. A third ship of 2,468 teu is added, the APL JEDDAH, who will run alongside her sister ships APL CAIRO and APL PUSAN.
