Chiwan Container Terminal handled 550,164 TEU in August, setting a new monthly record. The stellar performance beats the monthly record set a month earlier. In the first eight months of the year, CCT has handled 3,710,000 TEU, an increase of 18 per cent over the same period a year ago.
