In January-August 2007, West-Siberian railway dispatched over 170 million tonnes of cargo (+3 million tonnes, year-on-year), the company’s PR Department reports. In the reported period the company loaded 119.428 million tonnes of coal (+1.5%); 6.460 million tonnes of iron ore (+1.9%). The railway’s cargo turnover amounted to 179.136 billion tonne-kilometer (+7.6%, year-on-year, or +12.716 tonne-kilometer.
