Oil spill found in the Black Sea nearby Novorossiysk

Oil spill covering about 1 square kilometer was found in the Black Sea nearby Novorossiysk, representative of аmunicipal transport prosecutor’s office reports according to RIA Novosti. "Oil spill was found September 12, near cape Doob. According to preliminary estimates the area does not exceed one square kilometer," the source said noting that the oil spill has already been liquidated.  Currently, law-enforcement authorities try to determine theguilty.  "There are two vessels in the area now, however it is too early to say which one is to blame," a representative of the prosecutor’s office says.  Investigation is underway.
