Bocimar expands fleet
CMB has confirmed that its subsidiary, Bocimar International, has ordered ten Handysize bulk vessels (33,500 dwt) from Samjin Corp in Korea, at a cost of around US$36 million each.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery between September 2009 and December 2010.
Bocimar has also ordered, in 50-50 joint venture with Drylog, one 180,000 dwt Capesize unit from Dalian in China, for a purchase price of US$100 million. The vessel is due for delivery in June 2009.
Bocimar has also sold its 52,403 dwt Handymax vessel, CMB Talent, complete with its time charter which expires end-2008, for US$53 million. The vessel is due to be delivered end-November 2007.
