Novorossiysk Shipping Company (Novoship OJSC) has ceased transportation of cargo under Russian flag, Interfax learnt from Economic Development Department of Krasnodar region’s Administration.
"In May the company wrote off the last vessel engaged in cargo transportation under Russian flag,” the Department representative said.
According to the regional Administration, the rest vessels flying Russian flag are operated under long-term time-charter agreement.
