Hong Kong-based shipping line CSAV Norasia will add the port of Lisbon, Portugal, to its ANE service from September 1.
The Lisbon call will increase links between North and Central China and the Iberian Peninsula.
The company stated one of the main benefits of Lisbon is that it provides a congestion-free gateway at the western point of mainland Europe, enabling its customers to reach to and from the major ports of Asia, North Africa and North Europe.
A fleet of eight vessels with an average of 6,000 TEUs has been deployed on the route.
The ANE port rotation is Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Yantian, Hong Kong, Port Klang, Lisbon, Le Harve, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Port Klang, Da Chan Bay.
