NYK announces restructure of its Usec-Ecsa service

NYK announces the restructuring of its USEC-ECSA service ANS (Atlantic North-South Express Service). The service will commence in September as an independent service of 6 NYK operated vessels, covering the main ports of East Coast of South America, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and East Coast of North America. Port rotation will be as follows: Navegantes _ Santos _ Vitoria _ Puerto Sucre _ Caucedo _ Norfolk _ New York _ Savannah _ Caucedo _ Puerto Cabello - Navegantes
The first vessel under this "new" structure will be the MV Sanuki 01:
south bound          - ETA Norfolk - September 23rd
north bound          - ETA Navegantes - October 16th
The "new" ANS will operate 6 vessels with capacity of 1,100 TEUs each, on a fixed-day weekly period.
Being NYK dedicated independent service allows total control of the service and possibility to offer schedule reliability and flexibility with one of the best transit-times in the market. It will be the only service to offer direct sailings through Vitoria port to the East Coast of North America.
NYK is committed to the USEC-ECSA trade and is continuously striving to offer the highest quality of service to the market, and further develop this important trade lane and support its valuable customers.
