China's Zitong Logistics to build inland port at Dezhou city

Zitong Logistics will build an inland port, a bonded distribution centre, at Dezhou in association with Tianjin customs within a year, it was announced at a ceremony to mark the commencement of the work.
The inland port will be like a coastal port offering one-stop customs clearance for trading companies who will then bring their products by road and rail to seaports, principally Tianjin in this case.
The Dezhou inland port will work in close association with Tianjin port, with cargo being fast-tracked through to loading and unloading at quay sites and shipped overseas or conducted without pause for customs clearance at the inland port at Dezhou.
