Shenzhen Yantian International Container Terminal (YICT) has recently offered a service of container sea-rail intermodal transportation to Longnan county in Jiangxi province, reports Xinhua.
Longnan county lying in the southernmost part in Jiangxi is the nearest area next to Pearl River Delta in Jiangxi. At present, the county has a CIQ office which is the only county-level customs facility in the midwest of China.
Since 2007, YICT has continued to expand its sea-rail intermodal transportation from the coastal areas into the hinterlands. As a result, more and more inland foreign enterprises are showing interest in YICT's service.
