NYK Logistics hires two executives

NYK Logistics (Americas) said it hired two established industry veterans who are joining the executive leadership team of its transportation division in Jacksonville, Fla. as of Oct. 4.

Michael Liantonio joined the company as vice president of operations, and Alyse Lisk fills a newly created position of vice president of marketing and operations support.

Liantonio is rejoining NYK Logistics (Americas) – Transportation after having spent a number of years with Momentum Transportation as executive vice president and chief operating officer. As vice president of operations he will be responsible for the operations network and service delivery for NLA-T, which includes over 20 offices throughout North America. NLA-T’s primary domestic services include truck brokerage (dry, flat and reefer), intermodal, less-than-truckload, expedited freight and reverse logistics.

Lisk comes to NLA-T from Maersk Line, where she served as senior director of process and systems for U.S. operations. Her focus will be in leading the market management group in product development efforts, as well as operations support and claims teams.
