Port of Primorsk handles 5,5m t of exported crude oil this September

In September, the volume of oil exports passing through the port of Primorsk (Leningrad region) reached some 5.5 million tons, and 55 tankers of total 150,000DWT called at the port (versus 6,1m tons and 62 calls in Sept, 2009), the Primorsky Commercial Port LLC press release said. The stevedore company is engaged in handling crude oil exports at port.

Sea port of Primorsk is the largest port in the Russia’s Northwest region transshipping exported crude oil and petroleum products. Primorsky Commercial has been operating at the port of Primorsk since 1 July 2005. The crude oil is supplied to the port terminal from the Baltic Pipeline System.
